Countdown Supermarkets

More expensive than Pak n Save but they make up for that by having tidy stores, wide aisles, good quality fish/poultry and making it easy for customers to find what they want. Staff are always happy to assist and very efficient.

It is not often you get to rate your local Supermarket, however, as the staff are so super-friendly here, I need to review their great service. Always a friendly hello when you shop and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The supermarket is clean - great parking - and no problems if you dont have your own shopping bag with you! Super clean new store nice wide isles, even car park was clean and tidy. Staff were courteous at the checkout and I got everything I had on my list nothing out of stock.

It's so convenient to have countdown close to home. It's nice to stop there to get a few things for breakfast or lunch. They always have specials on and staff are very helpful and friendly. Great location and there's plenty of car parking spaces. Store is always neat and tidy.

We visited 3 shops to buy the special price watermelon but all end up sold out. So we called this countdown branch, asked if they still have water melon for sale, the stuff who answered the call was so kind, she really went to check and told us still few left. So finally we bought our watermelon. We drove 20km arround Auckland eventually got what we were looking for. Thanks for Countdown.
