Countdown Supermarkets

Countdown supermarket is everywhere. you can easily to find one near you in Auckland. I know sometime the product more expensive than other supermarkets, but for petrol and time, you save both if countdown is closer to you.

Good fresh fruits and vegetable..customer service always good

I do 90% of my grocery shopping at Countdown. I like that I can just do a mock shop using their online shopping website. I add stuff to my cart then delete it when I pick it up in store. This also gives me an estimate of the cost of my shop. However, despite their same price instore and online guarantees I have found that pricing can be somewhat inconsistent. I do also use the online shopping to have my groceries delivered. The drivers are nice and always deliver on time and I usually have no problems with the actual shop (although a few substitutions that have been made have been questionable to me (swapping dried basil for chinese 5 spice doesn't really seem like a substitution - they are entirely different products!!). Love the recent store refreshes.

This place has some really nice cakes. The Waikato Chocolate Gaetu Birthday cakes are the best birthday cakes you can buy. This countdown had some good specials and is a really large store. Friendly helpful service too.

Well stocked and always quick and friendly at checkout. Prices are a bit high But worth it.
