The food was amazing and the ambiance comfortable. The service could have been a little more attentive but that won’t stop us going back.

Cozy place with amazing food served. Reasonable price and good good service. Definitely the good choice to go if you ever want some Japanese taste. From oyster, fish skin,eel, fish, chicken teriyaki abalone and desserts it was lovely feast and beautifully presented

Went here tonight with our family of eight and had a fabulous meal and experience. Won’t dwell on the details, suffice to say it exceeded our expectations by a mile. Amazing. Fully recommended

It is not the best in Auckland in term of Japanese goods, but it is pretty good for what it is. What spoiled the night was the manager, when I first walked in, he chastised me for not call in to book, on their website they said they only take booking for set menu, other wise I would have call. Then he judged my dining companion when she walked in. The waitstaff was hard to flag down even though we were the only table there for the first half an hour of the evening. And then it got worse when I tried to pay, for a moment I forgot my pin, and the manager made a comment/joke(?) about I might have to stay and wash the dishes. It was not a tasteful joke for the prices that we paid. I'm not sure I would return...

Quite frankly I was daunted at having to eat 8 courses. There's not a great deal of room between the front and back of me, so I was wondering whether I'd be too full after 3 courses. But, all the courses were the perfect size, and so much flavour and variety. It's on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for - the food was excellent and the service very attentive and polite.
