Circus Circus Cafe

Always our first or second choice when heading towards Mt Eden. Got off street parking around the cafe. Great variety of sweet and main dishes. Perfect for brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Love the circus displays. A super wise use of space with such a levelled and narrow layout. Just that the mud cake is far too sweet when we had a drink and dessert after dinner during our last visit.

Food: great, yummy...we had the chicken for mains and chocolate heaven for dessert. It was so good that we end up ordering desserts to go. The only downside was there a was a little wait for the foods.

Definitely a really nice place and obviously in a nice location.The chocolate cake with ganache and a white chocolate deco on top. The cake is so dense and slightly moist. I personally am not a fan of chocolate mud cake or something similar but that thick ganache icing on top of the cake was absolutely gold.Nice coffee art with prefect Flat white. I will definitely visit this place again.

Really like this place. It has a special circus theme and it multi-level with different spaces. The latest is that they have blankets outside for outdoor seating. The hot chocolates are quite good and huge. Always busy and long-standing at Mount Eden.

Great place for breakfast or any meal, hot chocolate are to die for, had the hash brown breakfast off the menu and was very impressed, poched eggs are my favorite and they were very good. Parking not so easy and it got busy towards the end of our visit, but it's one of those must go places in Mt eden.
