Chawlas Indian Restaurant

I do not go often but I enjoy it every time. There should be one floor up there will fewer people queuing to eat.

Good small restaurent..ordered food late friday night...was bit expensive but worth it paying bcz food was awsome...might visit again soon..

I had heard some really positive feedback about this restaurant from a vegetarian friend from overseas, so we finally stopped in to dine on a night out to a show.

The customer service was fantastic, very warm inviting and attentive and from the time it took from being seated to ordering and food being served was very impressive!

I tried the prawn curry Indian hot with a mango lassi and the others ordered the special tikka chicken Marsala with a cobra beer. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and we were able to eat and dash to make our show in ample time. Highly recommended!

Really quite average for curry at an Indian restaurant. The décor is really colourful and a bit more casual than the normal Indian restaurant but there were only a couple of pieces of meat in the curry, better to go to Raviz for a feed.

After a long business conference, four of us went searching for somewhere to eat on a Friday night and happened upon this place. We enjoyed the food, there was plenty of it, not too expensive and actually very tasty. Service was good, decor and bench seats are a bit tired, but the place was pretty cosy. Nothing was too much trouble, even when some leftovers had to be scooped into takeaway containers. Thanks for that! We over ordered because we expected to be hungry but the chicken tikka entree was the size of a main!
