Central Taxi Ltd

Taxi driver asked us where were from. As soon as we said Australia, he diverted south and made up a lie about the motorway being closed, little did he know I'm from NZ & I'd already read only 1 lane was closed & I knew the way. He said nothing could be done and i couldn't provethe motorway was not closed. He said nothing could be done about it and charged us an extra near $40 than what he said it would cost. His driving was scary, almost drove under a truck, drove 100km in a 50km area. Only slowed when his gps told him a speed camera was near. Never ever go with this company

Got ripped off with a short ride from city centre to Kingsland. $11-$112 dollar ride on a good day and close to $20 on a busy day (with uber). Jumped into taxi Ltd cause he was there. Cost me $30 and I noticed tariff 3 (which I’m pretty sure is wrong). He said he was just trying to make a living when I queried him. I said so am I.

Got ripped off. Taxi asked me to cancell my Ola and offered a discount. Paid $45 just within Central Auckland. Driver smirked when I said that I will never ever ride a taxi again. With all the terrible reviiews, This company should not be allowed to continue what they've been doing. There should be a regulation for taxis to operate.

$31 to go from Spark Arena to 3/4 way up Queen Street. Uber on the way down was $12!!!
What a rip!!

This company does not deserve a rating at all. I made a account just so I can make a negative review. But what happened was I was getting a Uber from mt smart stadium to papakura ranging from $38-$52 and this taxi asked where I was going etc. said I’ll offer you a 20% discount so the ride will be $40-$45. He was begging me to cancel my Uber ride so I called my Uber drive how much the cost will be and she was being really honest and I apologised was practically taking the long way there I also got ripped I had to pay $70. He was scared that he overcharged me. This effected me so badly because it was Easter weekend so no one was getting paid until a week later as I only work casual what gives them the authority to waste our funds like that. After I got out of the car he was smirking that I got scammed. Please drive with Uber as they have a fixed price unlike central taxis they scam u they’re not worth your dollar.
