Bungalo Cafe

I love Bungalo Cafe on Mokoia Road in Birkenhead. It has great coffees friendly staff and again you have an option of sitting outside or inside. Its an extremely popular cafe and is often packed with people so you might want to visit when they are less busy to ensure you get a seat. Weekends are much busier than weekdays.

Food isn't anything special but is good for cafe food and would go back here. The portion sizes are quite good and the prices are comparable to most Auckland cafes.
Has a sheltered outdoor area with heaters which was good as it was quite cramped inside otherwise.
Staff were friendly.

This cafe serves amazing food and is very popular and constantly busy. They are geared up for this though and wait times are great, even when the cafe is packed out. They have bean bags and outdoor tables along with indoor and covered deck seating.

Nice food, we shared the grilled chicken salad and the pulled pork salad ,lovely and tender meat with plenty salad and dressing. We came here with a coupon so the prices were ok, the staff are efficient and make the coffee as you would like, coffee just the right temperature.

Nice food for pretty standard cafe prices. Staff are always friendly. Great location, can usually get a park close by. If you get the corner seat there is amazing views! Lots of dogs though... and I've seen owners let them sit on the chairs for customers :(
