Really nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The menu has an amazing variety. The deserts are delicious, the portion size is large and only $9 on Thursdays. Will definitely be back soon.

Had a meal with a group, about 5 of us. The food was really, really good. Our group were really impressed all round. Definitely recommend this place to others!

Bricklane Restaurant is located in New Lynn, within walking distance of the New Lynn train station and bus stops.

Unfortunately, at my previous visit, I found the food to be average (a bit too cheesy). We were also seated near the door which continued to slam throughout the evening.

However, on a positive note the dessert portions are large (and would be good for sharing). I can recommend the banoffee pie, I have had this a few times and it is always delicious.

Visited New Year's Eve. Wait staff prompt and helpful but the food was disappointing. Chicken was dry and the pork dish tough. Quality is preferable to quantity on my opinion. As I am coeliac gluten free option should be marked on the menu rather than the waiter having to recite them. Won't be recommending to coeliac society as a place to go.

I love this place because they are very generous with the portions they serve. My favourite special is on the Sunday for the roast. It taste always really good and they have also some specials on beers.
