Bon Ga Ne

Stopped by for lunch here. The menu is fairly large and has quite a few items you don't see in other Korean places. I quite like the range of different noodles. I had the jjolmyun, a chewy noodle with spicy sauce. I really liked the chewiness of the noodles. The egg and potato side dishes are also quite nice.

I keep coming back to this restaurant not only because of their delicious food, but also because of their great side dishes! Always one of my top choices when dining in the CBD.

Nice restaurant in upper queen street. Friendly staff, not overpriced

Before a comedy show, we decided to dine in for Korean cuisine at Bon Ga Ne in the CBD as it was close by to the Town Hall. The ambiance was very lively and bustling with lots of patrons and the service by staff was extremely efficient, very friendly and impressive.

We were readily seated as a table was quickly prepared and it was time to review the menu. What was great about selecting dishes were the pictures of every menu item. We settled on trying the fried pork Meat Dumplings, Spicy Sizzling Chicken and the BBQ Sizzling Pork. These were served with various accompaniments such as kimchi, pickled egg and potato and a dressed green salad. Our dishes were lovely and flavoursome not to mention generous in portion size.

To wash down our food, we tried plum wine, berry wine and cold pressed pear juice and the beverages were delicious and went well with the food.

Overall, the dining experience at Bon Ga Ne was terrific, and it served well as a good catch up dinner place, especially if you’re time pressed and want delicious food and efficient yet professional service!

Pretty decent offerings in upper Queen St. Clean premises with an interior very reminiscent of restaurants in Korea. Typical menu but what we ate was tasty. Nice banchan but jeez it was all a bit salty, seriously too much sodium. Friendly service.
