Bird On A Wire

Love this place the size of the burgers is big and fulling. The interiors are inviting and nice. The staff are also very nice and helpful. The Korean Baguette is a must when visiting this place. Prices are also good for a central Auckland restaurant.

I had a really good meal at bird on a wire at Tauranga crossing - would recommend the buttermilk chicken or the BLT burger. Lovely staff, and the food came quickly.

Having seen Bird On A Wire slowly get built and open at Orakei Village, I was so enthusiastic to visit and try out this Rotisserie chicken delight and finally got the chance.

Staff were immediately attentive and friendly and the interior of this prior shed structure refurbished, was very stylish and warm.

Without knowing what was exactly in the salads other than to the eye, I was in absolute awe over tasting and relishing the freshness, texture and flavours of salads and their dressings. I loved both the raw energy beetroot & carrot and the Indian spiced kumara, feta and mixed lettuce salads. I truly was in heaven and would come solely for the salad!

My Jamaican jerk flavoured chicken was average. Whilst I'm a spice fiend, the texture and flavour of the gravy-like basting was underwhelming, however the chicken itself was gorgeous and was better celebrated dunked into the remaining salad dressings. Heavenly!

So, I loved my dining experience finished off with an excellent espresso but will try the Korean BBQ basting next time and will try other salads they have. Highly recommended!
