      We had a great night at Basalt celebrating a family birthday. Inka, our waitress, was so lovely as well as efficient - she kept our drinks topped up and had a lovely manner with our kids. The food was fab as usual!!

      Basalt is a great little spot close to Mellons Bay for very good dining without the frills or fuss. The food is good, the atmosphere is good the staff are always friendly and courteous. Great for a quite night out to enjoy a nice meal, recommend the steak on stone grill, a nice wine.

      This is a great restaurant. Lots of delicious food options to choose from. Love the ribs and popcorn prawns. Have always been had great and quick service from here, no issues at all
