Barilla Dumplings

The food isn’t bad, I prefer to go here for dumplings however the staff really need lessons for good customer service. A lot of the time you’ll find them yelling at each other, great food but not the best environment to dine in.

We dined for the first time as we have been hearing rave reviews from friends about their dumplings. We ordered steamed pork with chives dumplings, Mapo Tofu and Yangzhou Fried rice. The dumplings was juicy, meaty and savoury. The tofu on Mapo Tofu was silky and smooth with a bit of a spicy kick however since this is supposedly a pork dish, it would be nicer with more pork in it. The Yangzhou fried rice was ok a bit average in taste with peas, corns and carrots that tasted like what we buy frozen from the supermarket. The place past 5pm was already busy with all the tables full. The service was fast and the dishes are reasonably priced. Will come back again to try the other dumplings.

Great food and what a selection! Have only been here once but will be definitely be coming back. Reasonably priced too.
