We really enjoy taking our children to the zoo, 5 & 2 but a lot of distruption at the moment due to upgrades and re-design which is going to be great when complete. Good for a day out, regardless and family pass is good value.

Went to a wedding here and it was nice being able to see the animals at the same time. Such a great range and creative enclosures

My daughter & I have enjoyed visiting on both of our holidays in Auckland. There are lots of animals to see making it a great day out. There’s quite a lot of walking involved so would recommend a pram for younger children.

Very enjoyable visit with a lot of reasonable priced goods in the gift shop. Enjoyed the tram ride to the motat

Pretty good zoo. Great for children on a family day out. We used the bus service to get there and found the zoo easily accessable with public transport
