First class zoo and its maintence ....animals seem happy with dedicated staff....offers good deals for kids and elders alike ...nice day out ...a must see when in Auckland

Took my son to the Zoo for the first time and he absolutely loved it. He was only 10 months at the time but see all the different colored animals up close really made him laugh. He particularly enjoyed watching the meerkats in their new enclosure and eating icecream while watching the elephant show. Will definitely visit again in Summer!

Great zoo. Perfect place for a day out with the family. Would avoid the place in the school holidays- just soooo busy and parking is a nightmare!

What a great place to take the kids and family! I absolutely loved looking at all of the animals, displays and exhibits. There is even a perfect cafe on site, and it is a great place to grab a quick snack and a cup of coffee.
