Apothecary Cafe

They shared a very large scone which they said was delicious. They said it was good coffee too. My hubby had the calimari which he really enjoyed ( friends had a sample & agreed it was delicious). I had the chicken burger & fries. Great fries & the burger was really good too. It is messy to eat & the chicken a bit stringy but overall it was enjoyable. My husband & I were hungry, we had just been out for a walk. It was a bit rushed as we only had 1 hour street parking, we didn’t know there is a back entrance from a parking lot with longer parking which the locals knew. Yes we will return (& Park in the back). Lovely staff & decor & good menu choice.

At first glance it seems like a really cool cafe, but you leave feeling thoroughly unimpressed. Unattentive waitstaff, average food, and an atmosphere that's too loud and echoey. Best cafe in Howick... but theres only a couple so thats not saying much.

Great cafe with heaps of menu and cabinet options. Large space for meeting friends. Nice casual atmosphere.

What a great place to come and enjoy a drink, the coffee is great and the milkshakes are amazing. Plus they often have live music on the weekends to support the buoyant atmosphere.

Had the best thickshake here I’ve ever had, real ice cream and huge. Service was great, even with a lot of people eating lunch. Well done guys
