Apex Car Rentals New Zealand

We just finished our 71 days car rental with Apex, 10,000kms.

While we were researching about car rental in New zealand, we came across a lot of negative reviews about Apex. We, consciously, decided to choose Apex because the cost of rental was one-third compared to Hertz, Avis etc. We asked a lot of questions to them about the condition, make and year of their car. Apex staff patiently responded to all our questions

We are so pleased to write this review. Apex didn’t dispappoint us. We had a Toyota Corolla 2010, with 165000 miles on it when we picked up the car. I think Apex is comeptitive because they are very old player in the rental market, therefore they have old, but well maintained cars.

We didn’t have any issues with the Toyota at all. It worked in all road and weather conditions. After a month of rental, in the beginning of April, when we were in Wellington, we took the car to the Apex location in Wellington. We requested to do service check since we were going to drive it for another 50 days in South Island. The Wellington staff were very prompt and cooperative.

Overall, we are very satisfied with Apex vehicle and customer service. Would recommend to other travelers. It is well suited for people who are budget traveler.

Have hired through apex many times and all experiences have been great. Staff have been helpful whether it was their online team or their instore team. Car was great - drove great and came really clean. Will hire again

Good price and nice cars, airport drop off branch is outside airport, not very convient.

A little bit causal in their approach. Picked up the car after hours so they just drove it to the side of the road, gave the keys and pretty much said see ya. No issues after this was just a weird experience
