Amano is perfectly located in the heart of the city and the decor is superb. This is one of my favourite in Auckland!

Great italian restaurant, on waterfront location, and nice rustic interior. The food and service always great, and atmosphere always bubbly.

A very cute place for brunch! We visited around 12pm and it was very busy, luckily we got a seat.

I really enjoyed the mozzarella, seasoned well with some beautifully ripe tomatoes. Nice and simple.
And the espresso and mascarpone trifle was delicious, well balanced and the crumble was deliciously crumbly.
Definitely one of the better joints I’ve visited in a while.

The staff are attentive and friendly. Decor is very mod and cute, I love the flower decorations everywhere. Very cute place for lunch date and I definitely will be back to sample more from the menu. Highly recommended if you want to impress someone

An absolutely breathtaking and awe inspiring restaurant which hosts Amano Bakery along with views into the kitchen, pasteria and deli whereby the customer gets to see all the fresh produce and ingredients transform into morsels of culinary wonder. They confidently change the menu daily and sometimes between brunch and dinner settings to suit seasonality or what's fresh in.

The decor is reminiscent of a European market, so beautifully adorned with bunches of dried hydrandreas above, display shelves to showcase artisanal offerings, and rustic fuses with contemporary touches to provide patrons with a truly refreshing dining experience that envigourates all the senses!

Customer service is exemplary and you're treated to endless glass of sparkling water to accompany your meal.

I ordered the kingfish crudo which was mouth watering and so fresh and light to the taste followed by the scampi tagliatelle. This dish was to die for and I'd return for that again. Whilst my meal was excellent, unfortunately one of our table had her lunch marred by ordering the fresh mozzarella ball, which was weird in clashing tastes and textures.

Highly recommended but study the menu carefully or just ask the server if in doubt.
