0800 Best Deal

0800 Best Deal is the most incompetent and negligent service provider that I have ever been exposed to. A more appropriate name would be 0800 Bad Job or 0800 Botch.
I took my car in for a minor panel and paint job which was botched up considerably in so many ways it was inconceivable (including paint overspray on numerous surrounding areas and interior, rough repair work, rough paint work including paint drips, taping left behind, poor fitting of parts, etc). Even after their attempt to remedy the defects (on two occasions) the vehicle still requires further remedial work. It will subsequently cost substantially more to fix their botch up than the cost of the original job completed by a competent repairer. Furthermore there are additional dents, scratches and nicks to other panels now that were non-existent prior to the car being in their possession.

A negative rating for 0800 Best Deal would be more applicable in the circumstances, and if you value quality workmanship I highly recommend you go to a panelbeater that is endorsed by ALL the major insurance companies, MTA and Collision Repair Association (which 0800bestdeal is not, and this is why!)

I've used Best Deal on a number of occasions and have been satisfied every time. The first time I took the ute down to the workshop it had been in a bingle causing some pretty hefty damage. I shopped around for a few quotes and Best Deal came in the cheapest. The team down at the workshop were great, we had a good chat, and they really put me at ease. They did a spot on job with the repair, absolutely stoked. From paint to mechanical, its nice to have a local go-to workshop which come through with the goods every time.

Purchased a car and panel service and from Grabone. The service from the shop was extremely unprofessional. The worst experience from an auto-shop. From the start, there does not seem to be a booking system. Called twice and booked in a week ago but my name was not even in their paper 'notebook'. I was told to pick up the car 4 days later. I called a day before the pick up to confirm that the car is ready. At pick up day, there was no courtesy call to say the car is not ready. I was told to get a taxi to go home.

Awesome job thank you. These guy did such a good job of the respraying on my car. What impressed me is there friendliness. They went beyond and above my expectations, as they brought my car to me, when I had difficulties with my son.

I would recommend them to anyone.

I purchased a deal for a panel repair from these people and when I turned up there were all these extras that I assumed would be included like taking off the panel, putting it back on and blending. I ended up getting quotes from other places and the total I paid ended up higher than the quotes!

Because I had already paid for the voucher I felt locked in already - the quality of work is good

I highly reccomend getting a quote BEFORE buying a voucher.
