Ashburton Museum is excellent! Full of interesting history etc and well set up. Also great activities for the kids esp during the holidays!

Had the place to myself when I went in and had a look around in the morning. The lady at the desk was nice and had a bit of a chat to me. Lots on display to have a look at and is well done. The art gallery upstairs is also well worth checking out. Lots of parking

family friendly museum. lots of to see and learn the history. great for taking kids here while travelling in south.

Took my four kids here while visiting ashburton on holiday. They had a rugby expedition which was interactive for the kids. Was a really fun morning out.

Good place to visit during holidays and take the children so they can learn some history.
