What Makes Us Different
We have been established in Ashburton, Mid Canterbury since 1908 when Arthur Cates, a former teacher and gas works employee, established his own plumbing and gas fitting business. In 1924 Arthur Cates sold ploughs, cultivators, milking machines, pumps, and water pumps. In 1948 his sons Tom and Arthur (AV) took over the company. Currently the company is run by Daryl Cates (AV's son) who specialise in gas equipment and services which include: * LPG home delivery * Water pump repairs * Threading galv pipe 15mm to 50mm * Water system design for home, stock, gardens, dairy sheds * Portable gas appliance repairs * Plumbing * Water cooler servicing * Home irrigation design * Drinking Water treatment system design * Hire items
