westpac treat their customers like a number and not a person. They just do not give a stuff when they are in the wrong and dont care about fixing problems. They had a glitch and my debit card was charged for the same transaction THREE TIMES. I asked them to fix it and they said i had to go back to the store. complete waste of time and petrol as the store told me it was the banks fault. when they finally admitted they stuffed up, it took them weeks to get my money back to me, they kept putting temporary credits on my account that disappeared at midnight so if i spent it, i would be put in overdraft and have to pay them an overdraft fee! I had to ring them on CHRISTMAS DAY and argue with them over getting my money back. I was a customer of over ten years, not anymore. i went to ASB and have never been happier, I actually get treated like a human being and not talked down to and looked down upon.
