The Lunch appetizers were Mango Jhinga and Chikundari Croquettes. Mango Jhinga is prawns cooked with mango, mustard seeds, and curry leaves. Chikundari Croquettes is made with beet root, ginger, chili, fennel seeds, cilantro, mango mustard chutney.
This used to be our local “go to” for Indian takeaways, but in the last 6 months or so, we have been less impressed. The naans are still the best, but the curries (especially) Butter Chicken have been more watery, less flavourful and didn’t have much meat in them compared to before. The orders also took a lot longer to be ready than they said so this resulted in a lot of waiting around with pick up. We have since found a new fav Indian takeaway.
Very friendly and warm service-even when we went late nearly closing time they welcomed us and agreed to take our takeaway order . Made fresh and hot of the tandoori oven- cheese and garlic naan and we didn't have to wait long as well. Excellent service and would love to go there again!
