The museum is small but interesting and costs only 2 NZD.
The shows are really nice: images are wonderful and the talk is detailed, funny and not boring. Good also if you're not that deeply into astronomic things.
If the weather is bad they give you a ticket to come back and use the telescopes.
I'll go back soon!
Went there for the Grand Tour of the Solar System and was a nice experience, very informative.
Tickets were sold out, however, staff was kind to put us on waitlist and luckily we got seats.
Also got to use the telescope to view the night sky which was great.
Went to the open day so was only $2 per head, a great introduction to planets, stars and the universe for the little ones.
Nicely setup but not a huge amount to do other than the planetarium show - although the kids could spend hours sending the ball down the gravity well!
