Installed a swimming pool and spa pool in February 2016. These guys did a great job - very professional. Had a few issues with a high water table which was unexpected and they dealt with this really well. We are very happy with the end result and would happily recommend them.
Warning to all people in the market looking for a good honest deal on a Spa Pool... Stay right away.. these guys bid our there own trademe auctions just to push up the price because they set there own reserve too low. - Check out Trademe auction Listing #: 892425727 (martin482) is Martin Jordan who works for them. They took our deposit and after we did some research from not hearing anything
about our purchase we tried to get our money back. This is met with lies and hiding from phone calls. They are dishonest and we now have to go to court to get our money back. Checkout the companies office for this place, it was formally listed as a panel beater, The SPA & POOL FACTORY LIMITED (2338325) Registered previously - NORTH CITY COLLISION REPAIRS (2009) LIMITED (16 Jun 2010) so they have not been making pools and spas for over 30 years as they claim. Don't give them your money don't even waste your time you will be sorry and regret even hearing the name of this place...!!!
We ordered a spa pool online. A little nervous about spending so much money with no personal contact we asked a lot of questions by email. we thought if we got clear information in writing we could rely upon it. We said upfront we would be unhappy paying 100% of the cost before receiving and checking the spa. This company told me by email we would pay 20% deposit (we did)and the balance on delivery. This offer gave us confidence that we could check the spa was in good working order before completing payment, so we chose to give my business to Spa and Pool Factory on this basis. Later we were asked to pay in full before the spa was dispatched. We showed them our email trail and they refused to honour this offer, blaming employee error. We offered to pay 75% up front to show good faith and move things along. They refused. We sent more emails, made more phone calls and was offered the choice of paying 100% before the spa was delivered to us or getting our money back. As we were unhappy with the "it's your problem, not our mistake" attitude the manager showed, we opted for our money back. We've called, we've emailed - you've guessed it - no return of deposit. We are now potentially looking at a Disputes Tribunal case to recover our money. It's not life and death stuff but THIS SPA TURNED OUT TO BE LESS THAN RELAXING!!"
