Great place for a family of 5 with plenty of space in their larger rooms. The pool area is good when not busy, however can get quite crowded at peak times. The restaurant is reasonably prices with kids eating free, but don't expect premium quality service or food.
Went there for their buffet dinner on their Italian night. Was pretty busy. Both high chairs were in use so we had to try hold our twin toddlers. I'd suggest they purchase some more. Food was nice but was disappointed they ran out of desserts fast and we waited around for them to bring out more but they didnt replace everything that ran out.
Wont be staying here again, room was a let down - curtains and carpet had stains on them, the little food packets on the counter and the counter were all sticky like something had spilt everywhere, the heater didnt work (we were staying in winter) and the room was just very noisey which ive since seen other reviews elsewhere of the same noise issues from the same room.
The rooms were alright, we liked the layout but there were several let downs that made us not enjoy our stay as much. There was rust/worn out silverware in the bathroom. The spa was a bit dated and when we were going to our room there were people on the balcony smoking marijuana. (I have two babies so I was horrified) i would stay here if I had no other option but I don't think I would be recommending it to anyone.
Good for people with children. The building is a little dated, but the prices were okay. There is a restuarant that serves buffet breakfast, al a cart lunches and dinner. You can also book rooms for functions. I enjoyed the bar area which is situated above the resturant
This is a really good hotel to in Rotorua especially if you have kids. Great location, fantastic indoor pool and spa which is awesome if you have kids. The rooms are a good size too. They are a little tired but nothing offensive that's for sure. Highly recommend it!
