This is a very busy medical centre, most of the staff are very pleasant. It can often be hard to get an appointment but it's good that they have a regular drop-in clinic even though it can have you waiting a while. It's handy that a pharmacy is attached to the centre. Parking is sometimes difficult, especially at school pick up time.
Been there for 28 years and have mostly enjoyed it there. All staff are friendly and make it very easy to chat about medical problems. Downside over the last few years has been the growth of the practice and unavailability of appointments. However the drop in clinic every afternoon and on Saturdays helps ease this...wait times are anything from straightaway to one hour during this drop in time.
My family and myself have been patients at Ratanui Medical Centre with the same doctor for 33 years, and have always been treated with respect and dignity. My only complaint is that whenever I ring for an appointment, I am told that my doctor is booked out for the next three or four days, and he doesn't work Fridays. I have to ring up nearly a week before to get an appointment. The fees are reasonable compared to a lot of other Medical Centres.
Lots of doctors though they book up very quickly so it can be hard to secure an appointment. They do however have a walk in clinic in the afternoons which is very handy. What I really did not like about here was that they give you a number when you enrol and when you make appointments etc you need to give them your 'nimbler
