A very nice place with elegant decoration and atmosphere. Feel so relax once step in the restaurant! The ladies whom we believe are the boss are so nice as well! The dumplings and BBQ pork were really good, as was the fried rice - kids loved it. Would return again in a group or with family.
Among those we tried, we love the shrimp rice noodle roll the most!
Regarding the environment this is probably one of the best Cantonese restaurants in Auckland. The space is not particularly cozy but this is quite common to Chinese restaurants. The price tags are a bit high, which is understandable considering its location. Parking is often a problem due to limited parking slots outside. There is one major issue - a lot of dim sums there do not taste like genuine Cantonese food. Not saying the food is not yummy, but personally I'd expect genuine Cantonese styles in a yum cha restaurant.
Not your average Yum Char place. I like this one for it's variety of foods, you get your usual traditional yum char foods but they mix it up with a bit more seafood and duck dumplings. There's even a great icecream one with chocolate sauce.
