The library in the heart of Newmarket and Parnell - in side the jubilee building is an architecture marvel, and a trademark building of the city. The library itself is average, with the collection of books being above average, and remains mostly busy. Good for returns or perhaps some PC work, if you remain quite a lot in the city vicinity, and would like direct transport (yes the buses drop and pick you right in front of the library :) )
This is one of my favourite library. The wifi is super fast to use and there is charger on the desk so you don't have to worry about there is no power. The staff there is very nice, I have just got one question that I am unsure of and they explained it deeply and in details. Every Wednesday there are kids going there to have story time there in the afternoon, so amazing.
This is a great old library in the beautiful old Jubilee building at the top of Parnell. This is a reasonable range of books and media as well as a lovely little courtyard outside for reading in the sun. There's a nice cafe in the building if you need to stop for a coffee. Good community facilities in the building as well.
