I love this place! Nice to still eat at a cafe down the lower end of Victoria Street. Amazing selection of food, super yummy cakes, chips are awesome and the Chicken Gado Gado is a hit every time. Only downside would be it is hard to get a carpark unless parking in a car parking building and walk! and the chairs are not comfy but I think they have upgraded as I have not been for a few months :) Keep up the awesome work!
I like this restaurant if you are on a budget - the thai green curry is always nice and their cone of fries with Aioli is a great option for the kids. Also I really enjoyed their iced chocolate drink. Staff are always great and meals come out in quick time.
Great place to catch up with friends and have a dinner and wine. They offer BYO wine and their meals are reasonably priced so quite affordable. Meals are okay - but I have dined a few times and I think it really depends on who is in the kitchen on the night as sometimes delicious and sometimes meal is average.
I found that Metropolis was quite overpriced for what they have. The coffee wasn't the best that I have tasted, and it was burnt. The food was undercooked, and I found that the cafe was not at all wheelchair or push chair friendly. Not only that but there wasn't much seating. I think that if they made it more accessible, and cooked the food properly, I might return, but until then, I won't be returning.
