After the rude reception I got this morning, I am NOT inclined to use Mathews. This review only relates to the female who answered their phone. I have formed no opinion on the quality of work done by their service technicians.
Female: “Hello” She takes offence when I mentioned that it was impossible to know if I had called the correct number unless she answered with the business name.
Female: hangs up on me.
Beggars cannot be choosers, so I phoned back.
Me: explaining why I called back.
Female: “I suggest you contact the manufacturer. We have not serviced your nebuliser in a long time.”
Me: “How do you know that? You never asked for any details.”
Female (slowly and firmly): “GO… SOAK… YOUR… HEAD…” then she hung up on me again.
Granted, it is not the rudest of epithets, but it is a totally unacceptable response from anyone involved in customer service. She did NOT create a positive first impression of Mathews Electronic Services.
