This is now called Bolliwood Titirangi. Whilst at the same location, it's now a much better restaurant. It has an A grade food rating, and an alcohol license (which had been temporarily revoked under old ownership). You can also byo wine - $6 corkage per bottle.
My friend and I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, and Butter Chicken. Both were excellent. No more of the watered down variety from Masala days. These dishes were rich and creamy, and importantly full of meat! Rice came on one plate for 2 to share - was a reasonable amount (although could have been a little more possibly). Mains are $17 each - but I used a Groupon to get the price down even further, which made it really great value (as it also included a Sizzle platter with onion bhaji, beef kofta and other yummy things).
Service was surprisingly good, and very attentive - a real change from the past. Still early days, but this new Bolliwood restaurant seems to be on the right track for success. Add the lovely views of Titirangi from the outdoor deck, and this becomes a great place for a family meal or friend / group catchup.
