Although I completely understand Mainfreight's non liability policy, I am shocked by their company's standards and urge anyone to think twice before paying for their poor service.
I had a surfboard shipped by by Mainfrieght, layered with loads of bubble wrap and protective cardboard, not to mention the 'fragile' labelling sprawled over the whole package.
The nose of the board was complete smashed during transit. I emailed customer service wanting to know how they plan to access the situation and ensure this will never happen again. I mentioned serval times that I realise the importance of non liability, however the only repose I received pointed back to their 'owner's risk' clause.
Owners risk is absolutely fine, however Mainfreight you cannot hide your careless services and poor customer care behind such policies. Overall I'm $95 short from the board repair and really disappointed in the way Mainfeieght handled the whole situation.
