Busy cafe with friendly staff, amazing food and drinks. Staff were quick to answer questions and check on how we were. I heard about this cafe from a colleague at work and decided to try it out. Was not disappointed! Would recommend to all.
My wife, son and I dropped into Little King for Sunday brunch after my wife had heard good things about it. The place was pumping with the North Shore’s social set and, combined with the trendy and appealing décor, created a lively ambience. The menu was excellent, with all the staple brunch fare and an excellent range of smoothies. My smoothie was served in a jar with a handle and my wife’s with a red and white striped straw. My wife commented on the straw and it’s obvious Little King is a place where every detail has been thought through for effect and money spent to achieve it. The food itself was fresh, well presented and generous and I backed this up with a take away coffee which was also enjoyable. Overall, we left Little King very pleased with our decision to drop in and will definitely be going back. Highly recommended!
This was an unexpected surprise. I was recommended to go here by a friend who had previously recommended some not so great places to eat, so I was pretty dubious. However, I was pleasantly surprised, for such a small venue I was delighted with the range of both menu and counter options. & was even more surprised by the amazing presentations of everything, from getting bagels with shot glasses full of spreads or a simple iced chocolate in a mason jar. With eclectic design, awesome NZ artists on display, mismatched seats, and the option of single or shared tables, along with a play area for children and vibrant wait staff, I would definitely recommend a trip here. Especially for a Sunday morning brunch.
