Attended a graduation ceremony here and I loved it. The conference room was well decorated and the food was absolutely beautiful. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The place was very nice and tidy. Heaps of parking spaces which makes it a convenient.
Have been coming here since it was the Sheraton Hotel, the SBF brasserie now Eight. We have seen the many upgrades and we have been notified that there is a new name to get used to. Was happy when we stayed here at the Hotel for special occasions with the rooms always spotless, good facilities and happy attentive staff. In the latter years Eight has been the restaurant of choice amongst the family but only for special occasions cause lets get real it is not cheap especially when you have more than the 2 of you to consider. The staff always remember us and we can have a good chat when they are not rushed off their feet. Ann and her crew never fail to make you feel welcome and I look forward to enjoying their company when the next special occasion arises.
The Langham's buffet restaurant Eight is top notch for the buffet offerings. A must try is the Christmas buffet, the seafood stand is unmissable. Great seating and vibes, guests are even offered Christmas crackers. The dessert stand: the dutch gingerbread tiny soft biscuits are the best! Serving staff are very hospitable and clear your plates after each plate. he room is very decorative and outstanding in its cleaniness.
Very flash place to visit. The service there is absolutely fantastic. The food is also top notch with a great variety. If you're going for breakfast, anytime but Christmas will be a 5 star experience. For Christmas the price goes up about 3 fold and it's really packed, so in my opinion isn't worth it. I would go there any other time and you won't be disappointed.
Came here to review the restaurant attached to The Langham (Eight). Exceptional value for money and amazing food! The desserts aren't quite on the same level as the mains however all you can eat sushi, curry, meat and seafood makes for an amazing night out.
The Langham is possibly the most expensive hotel in Auckland, but if you decide to splurge and stay here for the evening, you definitely won't regret it. The rooms are enormous and very nicely decorated, their buffet and bar are amazing and have such a huge selection of food and beverages, and their spa is lovely.
Although I've never been experienced the accommodation side, I have been to their buffet restaurant, Eight. I would say this is by far the best buffet I have ever been to. They have everything that you can ask for, from seafood to dessert. I love how everything are organised and the food is great. Expensive but worth it!
All time favourite hotel in Auckland - if you go for one of the more expensive suites you won't be disappointed. Massive room and very well appointed. The restaurant Eight is also really good, and I haven't had better in terms of breakfast buffet!
There was abit of an issue with checkin and wasnt happy as we had a schedule to stick to but one of the staff was really good and got it sorted for us. We also got a bottle of wine and 2 free buffet breakfasts. If you ever stay here order the breakfast. The number 8 restaurant is amazing and has everything you could think of. I really recommend this place.
I love the langham, my favourite place to stay in Auckland! Stayed recently this weekend to celebrate a special occasion and had a delightful time. Excellent service, delicious food at Eight restaurant. And the added extra touch to make your stay extra special.
