Large store for the city, great range of stock and competitive prices, friendly security staff at the door, efficient people staffing the tills. Now, for the disappointing part - where are all the floor staff? Seriously there's like almost always no one free. Even if catch someone's attention they're busy serving someone and with another 2 or 3 waiting. Seriously understaffed and weird set up to blame - most things locked down or display model only so you need someone to serve you to even get your hands on the item. Then once they get it out for you, you can't just go pay and buy. Nope, they need to scan item and make an invoice for you to take to the counter with the item. Sometimes seems like too much effort and wait for small inexpensive items. If that's gonna be your policy, at least have enough staff to get it done. I have honestly gone in already knowing what I'm buying then left in frustration and just bought from somewhere else
When it comes to buying appliances and electronics jb hifi is my preferred store due to their reasonable pricing. The queen street jb hifi is good enough for cbd, came here for browsing laptop, the staff are really informative and very kind, you would get to see a staff person exclusively on the entrance just to greet the customers and say thank you as they leave. I couldnt find my specifications laptop so anyhow moved to the next jb hifi.
An electronics store which makes you wonder why they always have to plaster the whole place with their signs and posters. A good place for other electronic-related items like games and DVDs and whatnot. But the prices for electronics are not as competitive as the other big franchises.

Still I have no qualms about their sales and return and service policy. Bought the USB twin charger and it failed to charge my phone properly and the Manager was quick to ask the staff to process refund or card or anything else as I desire. I was amazed by them looking after so nicely. Most of the other places do offer that but this store made it so easy. Good one. I had my reason to ask for refund though too.
Worst customer service I've ever had in my life! Waited ages to be served and once I found someone to serve me, they gave me the wrong advice on a phone case and didn't know what they were talking about. Also asked the manager who was just as useless and didn't know more than his staff member. Worst retail experience of my life and I would never set foot in this shop again. Appalling!
