I lost my poor boy because of the vets at Forest Hill vet clinic. I took him at least 7 times to Forest Hill and he was diagnosed wrong each and every time over a 6 month period. Costing me almost $2000 in vet fees and meds. In the end it was an after hours vet in Glenfield who spent 30 seconds with my boy who diagnosed him correctly. He had cancer in his upper leg and NOT the sprained toe Forest hill vets kept telling me. The after hours vet couldnt believe they could have missed it. He said its very common with larger breeds and the first thing that should be checked. The vets at forest hill had nothing to say to me. All they wanted was the remainder of the money for the xray they ended up doing to confirm what the After hours vet had told me. If i had taken my car 7 or 8 times to a mechanic and been charged close to $2000 do you think they would continue to charge me like these clowns did? Forest hill vets are nasty and clueless. All they recommended was i put Lewis to sleep. I ended up re mortgaging my house and spending close to 12 thousand on trying to give Lewis the best chance possible. This was done at the Pt Chev Animal hospital. The Staff were amazing and Lewis got another year of life and the best treatment possible. The owners reduced the final cost by close to $4000 because they said they all loved Lewis so much and were all so upset. If you want the BEST care for your loved ones DO NOT got to Forest Hill Vets. Im still so disgusted with how they treated my poor boy.
