Really yummy food and friendly staff. I had the mini angus on the hotplate and I truly can't stop thinking about it. The live band was great too, had us singing along! The only downside was that we were seated by the door on quite a windy night so it was quite cold. But over all it was great :)
Yummy food, great staff and a lovely atmosphere!
Theres a huge choice on the menu, and they have daily specials too, so you're guaranteed affordable and delicious pub grub every night of the week! Definitely coming back for more :)
Bad experience with flying moa. Stingy with food portions and jam jars amoung other alcoholic beverages were majorly diluted with ice. Im a lightweight so I would know.
Will not be recommending this place to friends or family
Dissapointing Experience at the Flying Moa.
I called the Flying Moa in Sept 2012 advising them that I would like to reserve a table for 20 for a work function.
We arrived to find the table wasn’t reserved so staff were running around trying to gather spare tables, when we were finally seated we had someone take our order AGAIN after we had already agreed and emailed in our preferences. We ordered again, had a 45 minute wait and finally ate.
The only thing that has saved this company from a 0/5 is the food. The food, when it finally arrived, was delicious. It was fresh, it was hot, the meals were a spin on the classics and they were really really yum.
For a casual day out where time is not an issue, I would recommend the Flying Moa but if you have time constraints and don’t appreciate being stuffed around, this is not the place for you
Great place for a drink, great atmosphere although the drinks are a little on the expensive side unless they have a cheap special. I love their Sunday roasts which I have had a couple of times. The staff are always friendly and accommodating.
