The staff are helpful and friendly, they make great coffee and the most delicious brioche you will ever eat. Please note they are no longer in Pt Chev - they are now opposite the train station at Glen Eden with the same owners, same funky decor and a much less crowded shop!
I like the coffee and I like the outside area. The front is always busy and recently I uncovered there is back garden area which is very cool with plenty of parking. My friend had the bagels and she loved it. I will be trying that out next time. Good service.
Great little find. Went there on Anzac Day when Mud Pie (my usual go to) was closed. Probably the best coffee in Auckland I've had (got one to takeaway after breakfast, not cos I needed it, just because it was SO good). Had the delicious mushrooms and bacon on toast - lovely, good portion and nice side of relish too. My friend had the eggs bene and the hollandaise was really delicious - lemony so cut down the creamy element - not too overwhelming. Looking forward to a second visit - keep up the great work.
Nice eclectic little place, has a covered children's play area in the garden out back and does some nice food. Can't vouch for the quality of the coffee as I don't drink it, my only real complaint is they don't sell fizzy drinks like Coke Zero, its probably not sufficiently "healthy" for them.
