Ferg burger is a must do for everyone visiting Queenstown, never ending long line in front of the shop there for a reason.
We tried Ferg a couple of times and ate numbers of different dishes from the menu, everything was delicious. Chips and onion rings are superb too!
Icon of Q/Town. However, noted with interest article from Los Anges Times on Wall - in 2008 burgers priced at $7.90. Now $14- $16. Staff always terrific esp under such well organised pressure. Major annoyance was Hot tap non-functional in toilet. Would have thought that huge success of brand could afford running hotwater after abolutions.
Also miss the pst style of chips which was homecut & crispy. Now seems to be just a commercial fry.
Honestly the BEST burger I have ever had - and at such a great price! I tried the venison "Sweet Bambi" burger - it was HUGE and only cost about $13NZD. The plum sauce was delicious, the venison cooked perfectly and I could not fault the burger in any way. Not a lot of room to dine in so I would recommend taking away and enjoying the waterfront view.
