I've just started to hire wheelie bin from envirowaste. When I rang the first time, I was told to go online, so I did. It was stated online that a starter pack will be in the post, so I waited. 10 days later, I got the starter pack and the first invoice stating that I was charged for the bin collection starting the week before the package's arrived. At the same time, I also found the bin at the corner of my house. When I rang to clarify, the lady I spoke to was very argumentative, she said (quoted) "So, you want $5 back? OK I'll refund $5 back to your account." And HANG UP. I don't know if she understand, that it is not about money. In my opinion, I should be notified upon their delivering of the bin - because it would be my responsibility to take care of it. What if the bin was stolen or vandalized before I knew that it's in my property? I suggest envirowaste Dunedin to shape up their customer service skill, thank your customers for their input and use it for bettering your services. And hang up on your customer is a so NOT professional.
