Jill & Steve reporting in again. After this review was seen by the company, it went to the top company people and we got a call from them. They sorted this problem out to our satisfaction and we are giving them 5 stars for doing so. Its not what goes on with customers that makes a company, its how the company fix it that matters and Elite Fitness came to the party -- thanks Scott for sorting it. We went in about 2 months ago to buy a Exercycle - the Norditrack Ex 4.2 at the shop had a faulty board and didn't work - great for customer confidence. - Should have been a warning. We were then told that that particular bike was now obsolete. We then purchased a Norditrack EX3.2 at over $1000 - top of the range!!
Within 2 weeks the bike was going -thump-thump-thump in the pedal system. The whole axel was loose. - Understand that I pedel on No.1 - and it goes to 20 so I am not hard on this bike at all.
Apparently there was a 30 day trial offered with this bike that had to be lodged online within 7 days - we were not told of this so were unable to get our money back !!
- there was a place on the contract that had to be signed by us but that was not done as it was not pointed out to us upon signing the main contract. Hence our bike was replaced (which was nice of the guy to do so - hmmmmm - I think he knew he was in the wrong big time) -
I have had this new bike for 2 weeks and now the pedal has just started to -thump-thump-thump. -- after my husband looked at it, he found the bolt for the pedal needed to be tightened. - So what else is going to go wrong with our $1000 bike????
personally we would like our money back and have nothing else to do with this piece of equipment !! if they want to get hold of us they will know who we are - Jill & Steve.
