07/03/17. Several weeks ago our son Calum was stung by an insect. We thought at first that it was a wasp sting and thought it would go away. But 8 days later the red spot on our son's chest got worse and we took him immediately to the Otara East Tamaki Health Care in Bairds Rd, Otara. A doctor Kirankumar Patel identified the wound as a spider's bite and he swiftly performed an emergency surgery on my son's chest where we witnessed the pussy fluid emerge from the wound. Dr Kiran Patel prescribed anti-biotics for Calum. Over the past few weeks Calum has been going to the clinic for change of dressing and bandages. Today Dr Kiran Patel examined Calum's wound and was pleased with the healing process. We wish on behalf of the McKay family to thank Dr Kirankumar Patel for his quick professional response. Thank you.
