I stopped in for yum char at Dragon Boat and it was wonderful. I was able to order what I wanted and the dishes arrived very promptly. Being the near of lunch service, I was quickly attended to as staff were hurrying about clearing up remaining deserted tables.
The pork shu mai has to be the best I’ve ever had before. Sometimes you can get sinewy pieces of pork which can be unpleasant but these dumplings were tender pork meat only!
My coriander prawn dumplings were lovely as well and the pork vege steam fried buns were gorgeous. Prices were good.
I’d like to return for dinner to try the a la carte menu as this place is often busy.
The place looks quite nice but the food is below average. The dumplings which arrived at the table had been sitting around for some time, falling apart by the time it was on the plate. They have a shop front out in the food court which is a bit better if you want to take your time picking what you are getting.
This a restaurant that is very overpriced, which is understandable being in the central city. However, being in the central city means that it is very convenient. The food is not of spectacular quality, contributing to the overpriced-ness. Service there is acceptable.
Terrible experience, I have to spread the words out. When I went there it was just 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the bbq duck was not fresh and they just put the rice and bbq duck in the microwave to heat it up, the portion was small and did not worth $12.80, I could have used it in another bbq duck restaurant and get a higher quality food. I will never prefer anyone to go to that takeaway shop there. It was totally not acceptable at all.
