I booked Hamilton Taxis for a van to pick a party of 7 up from a wedding in Cambridge three days before the event. As the taxi had not arrived 15 mins after 12.30 I phoned their company who said they were very busy but would be on its way. I think I phoned 4 to 5 times as the taxi had not arrived when they said it would. I think it had arrived eventually at about 1.40am 1hour 10 after the time I had booked. This was totally unacceptable as I had my elderly mother with us standing outside the
Cambridge town hall in the cold waiting. Also I had to give the driver (bad
English) directions on how to get to Glenview. I complained to the company the next day but to date (three weeks later) I have heard nothing! Do not recommend them at all!
i would never deal with this company again. the taxis are beaten up and the drivers aren't much better. they like to think they know where they are going but be careful. they like to take the long way around, if you know the quickest route make sure to tell them. poor service
Absolutely disgusted with the customer service I received.
The call center staff told me the taxi would be about 15 minutes. When 15 minutes had passed I waited outside for another 20 minutes......no taxi.
Called back to be told that he was just around the corner.
10 minutes later and I still have no taxi.
The next call I had the male consultant was rude, he informed me the taxi was sent to the wrong place and one would be with me in 5 to 10 minutes(No sorry for the inconvenience or apology he just tried to get me off the phone as soon as possible).
You can basically guess what happens from here...............I called back again after over 15 minutes to tell them I wasn't happy and was still waiting for a taxi now being about a hour. The guy wound me up so bad not letting me get a word out and talking over me. I asked to speak to the TL or supervisor and he told me that was him, I then said I wanted to talk to someone above him to then he started saying sorry and offering me a free ride...................After arguing with this guy and being talked over I finally got the number and spoke to his boss.
The boss was absolutely lovely and understanding but it doesn't make up for the 2 consultants who absolutely ruined my day from the beginning and didn't even pretend to care about the poor service I was being given.
Absolute worst customer service I have ever received and I'm actually mortified that these people are running a business.

Had the worst possible customer service I've ever delt with in my life last weekend with this taxi firm.
Papa bear 2. Is what his name badge said on his dashboard. Arrogant and mean. First when he came to pick us up we got in the car and our friend had forgotten her phone inside he said she couldn't go get it and if she did he would leave without her.
Then we were driving and he kept putting my window up when I wanted it down. I felt unsafe and like I wasn't going to get to the destination safely, my friends will also say this.
Then he proceeded to put all the windows down and when my friends were freezing cold would not put them up. His speed was excessive , he flew around the round about and everyone was terrified. He sped the whole way there and went through a near red light at top speed. We planned on paying eftpos for the fare and it was clearly written on the taxi that eftpos was avaliable. But he told us we had to go to the atm and get cash out for him. On the drive I also asked him how his night had been and he replied 'it was good until I met you guys' rude. He is a danger to all his customers
