I went to this restaurant just by chance and because of my dad's sudden craving for Indian food on a muggy afternoon after a short walk around the wharf. The maitre de (I suppose, as he wore a white shirt to the all black attire others wore) was quite welcoming and seated us towards the middle of the dining area. We wanted to start with some chilled bottled drinks to start with to quench our thirst. And also, ordered our food along with it. My brother and I got our cocktails after a reasonable amount of waiting. We again reminded the waiter to bring the cold drink that our parents wanted and the waiter said he will get the drinks to us promptly. The waiter came back after a considerable amount of time later just to announce that their refrigerator was not working and they had only a different drink that was cold. Since we were sweating like a fish, we agreed to take whatever they had to offer. Later, the food was served and I can't complain about the food. It was quite tasty.
Again when we asked if the aircon was on (which we foolishly assumed would be on) they said the air on was broken and provided us with a pedestal fan which did not provide any comfort to our plight.
Towards the end we were provided with some melted homemade chocolate- I can't really complain because the waiter warned me about the melted chocolate.
I would not totally avoid this place. Maybe go there if it's our lucky day as things make might work for you.
I loved the food. Three stars for that
