The degustation menu was superb. Some really interesting textures and flavours, all showcasing South Island produce and wines. The Boar starter was so delicious. Could only be trumped by the amazing pork saltimbocca loin.Without doubt the best meal I have had in queenstown. Outstanding service and some wonderful wine choices too.
Went up here for a famous money shot cocktail on a rainy night, and only found rude waiters who told one of our group to 'get out of their way' when they asked if they had them. No service outside even though it was sheltered by the fire. Everyone too busy to provide any service at all so we left.
This lovely intimate restaurant is fantastic for a romantic night out or special celebration. We had the chefs tasting menu with a lovely bottle of chardonnay from the Otago region. The staff were attentive without being over bearing. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Simply awesome - some of the best food in New Zealand. This intimate restaurant has the best huge log fire and is welcoming and cosy. Unpretentious service and creative dishes using quality local product - I have tried Paua, Hare and Venison here amongst other things, all of which were firsts for me and did not disappoint. This restaurant is consistently good, having first visited 14 years ago and returning again in the last couple of years. The upstairs bar is great for an early evening / after dinner cocktail or two!
