This is a nice little bar and I have been there every time on my many trip to Arrowtown BUT on my last visit 14/11/2014 with two other business companions the bar person in charge made us feel uncomfortable from the minute we walked in. Maybe if we had have been twenty years younger she may have been friendlier. When we went in and sat down two us moved a chair over to give us three sets together. The bar person in question promptly stop what she was doing, came over and told in a very unfriendly manor not to move the chair and dragged it back the 500 mm to where it had been, this meant that one of our group had to set on a dumpty, we are all in our med fifties and seemed a bit pedantic. I quietly went to have a word to the manager to please come and have a look at the situation, to witch she replied ( She's in one of her moods ) and the chairs are easily damaged.
My thoughts are. ( take control of your staff and get chair your patrons can use )
