Wow what a cool place and really funkie decor. We got greated promptly and I thought it was a great place to eat as always busy and yes I was right. I had the steamed dumplings. Also the ribs and pork are so delish. Will be back for sure and the service was fantastic and the mess did not take to long as well
We were taken to our seats and waiter asked us if we wanted still or sparkling water. We opted for sparkling. When it came to paying the bill we discovered we were charged $10 per bottle of sparkling water. We had 2 bottles of water over dinner (on top of wine; what can I say, we enjoy hydrating) so $20 was added on top of our bill which we did not anticipate. I asked the cashier if that charge was correct, she said yes, and I said I was disappointed that the waiter had not mentioned the sparkling water was not free. She cheerfully replied "well the still water's free!" which was really just rubbing salt in the wound ain't it.
Hate it when businesses sneak secret, unexpected charges in. Loses all my respect and will never return.
We went on a Saturday night so it was pumping. The cocktails were delicious, the wait staff were wonderful and very friendly. Food was incredible. Despite being really busy, we never felt rushed or hurried to give up our table. Highly recommend for a great night out.
We went without a booking a managed to get a table no problem but they were very busy so I think any later and we may have had a wait. Either way, they were happy to seat us without a booking. The food is to die for and such a vibrant atmosphere. Highly highly recommend the chocolate pot for dessert - share between two as it's very rich but worth saving room for! :)
Have been here once and we were double booked accidentally as this place gets busy! However, the staff were happy to accommodate us even though the space was tight and they served us for as long as possible before moving us outside, as the table we were seated in was booked already. The pork bun dish is the winner at this restaurant. I love the concept of putting pork belly into the soft dough - it's soooo good and affordable too!
