I had Terry Morris come out to fix my garage door after it had been damaged by airbnb guests. I was first emailed a quote that specified one price then I was emailed a second by what i presume is his assistant. Alarm bells went off. I was contacted by no one else and decided to proceed with the quote. Terry proceeded to sell me the idea that nearly everything on the garage door needed updating. In the interests of prevention of future damage I decided to proceed. He then provided a final figure that was acceptable and was happy to pay on the proviso that I was offered a professional assessment report of what might have caused the damage. After being billed an invoice more than once, due on the date that the job was done, I finally received one sentence that came alongside the bill, at which point the case had been closed due to the numerous delays. THIS WAS 2 WEEKS LATER. Abysmal service and shoddy professionalism all round.
I called on Wednesday. I was asked for all the relevant details, then told that it will be passed on to one of the guys who will give me a call to confirm a visit. It's two days later and haven't heard a peep from them. Tried calling them this morning again, but no one was answering the phones. I give one star for the friendly person who answered the first time and took down all my details. Sadly I think they need better company processes to ensure jobs (and revenue) don't fall through the cracks.
