Thanks for the food! Thanks for the bowel problems too!
We received some food! We could fill our empty starving bellies again! Our small family was super happy about this until...
We'd had breakfast, lunch and dinner with snacks in between, for the first time in over a week when suddenly our bellies grumbled and we knew that we needed TO GO. Rushing to the bathroom, it was an all out war as we struggled and fought.
After a few hours, things had calmed down. We certainly weren't so happy to experience such violent diarrhea. Upon checking all the labels on the food we had received we were shocked to find that 95% of it had expired months ago, a year ago, two years ago, even THREE years ago. We had received packaged food that had expired in 2011. In fact, the only edible thing we had was two loaves of bread! We couldn't go to work for a day due to how bad our poor bodies felt afterwards. Way to go 0800hungry!
A fantastic idea for the needy and hungry - but if you're going to do something like this, at least be humane and give them edibles. It's like being a demon in Hell, torturing a starving child. You show him the chips, you hold the chips in front of him, you give him the chips, and he eats, how he eats - only to throw it all back up and defecate it all back out, because it had gone off 200 years ago! Now he's back to being starving! And sick! How he suffers! He sees what he COULD be eating, but he'd be better of not eating at all!
