Very friendly and helpful staff, great selection of products and weekly specials, my favourite supermarket to shop at.

Friendly staff, well stocked store and kept very neat and tidy. Staff know where most items are and are happy to order in products if you ask.

The customer service from the Butchery department at Whakatane New World is outstanding and should be used as an exemplar for how to treat your customers. The meat I bought was on special but the guys were still happy to butcher it further for me even though they were flat out.

It's only a small store, but it's very well laid-out and clean, and their staff are always pleasant. Their fruit and vegetables are good quality and seem very fresh, too.

We were there to find som special cheese. I asked a staff member if they have a section with special cheeses like goat feta and so on. The bad thing was that he didn't knew. So a customer told me where i could find my cheese. That's why from me just 3.5 stars
